Modern Kitchens

Aside from the bedroom, the kitchen is arguably the second most utilized space in the home. It’s where our morning coffee is brewed, supper is served and bedtime snacks are shared. It’s where we nourish our families, entertain our friends and where our favorite memories are made. Therefore, it isn’t much of a surprise that the kitchen tends to top home renovation wish lists. Take a look at some of the latest luxury kitchens we’re currently craving.

Stylish Storage: Architect and decorator David Mann equipped this kitchen with custom-made stainless steel cabinetry and counters, complimented by walnut shelves. The result is a modern look that is as efficient as it is exquisite.

Happy Hour: This butler’s pantry, designed by John Johnstone of Modern Classics, is an entertainer’s dream. Adjacent to the kitchen, this novel nook’s zinc countertop and cork backsplash are unlike anything we’ve seen before. However, the real star of the show is the Sub-Zero wine cooler… cheers!

All the Range: The kitchen of this art deco style home, designed by the team at XTC Design Inc., is far from ordinary. While the stainelss steel range hood steals the show, the shape of the central countertop and textured curved ceiling up the ante.

Plain and Clear: Designer Mary Beth Hartgrove sought to create a clean, modern motif in this kitchen. Perhaps most striking in this monochromatic space is the pristine glass top breakfast bar with contrasting marble panel.

Functional Fashion: Jordan Iverson Signature Homes was the mastermind behind this modern marvel located in Eugene, Oregon. The diverse blend of textures creates depth but what we love most is the well-equipped luxury farmhouse sink, constructed of stainless steel.
